The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to begin their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look unsuited, but the developments of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the party enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in quest for the traitor.
